CRC makes its 7th humanitarian distribution to National Borey for Infant and Children on International Children’s Day
To Celebrate International Children’s Day, June 1, Samdech Kittipritthbandit Bun Rany HUNSEN, CRC President, in her activities as National Champion of the United Nation Secretary General’s Joint Plan of Action for Women’s and Children’s health, assigned H.E Men Neary Sopheak, CRC first deputy secretary general with colleagues to make the 7th visit and distribution of humanitarian assistance to 247 of autism children, children with disability, Orphans, teachers and staffs on 8th June, 2021 in Nation Borey for Infant and Children located in Damnak 3 Village, Sangkat Steung Meanchey, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.
It is worth to recall that the Cambodian Red Cross has so far made its 7 times humanitarian donations to the National Borey for Infant and Children since 2016. The distributed donations included: 2 tons of rice, 40 cases of instant noodles, 5 cases of canned fish, 20 cases of orange juice, 20 cases of pure water, 30 bottles of fish sauce, 30 bottles of soy sauce, 2 cases of cooking oil, 25 kg of salt, 3 cases of soup, 60 liters of alcohol, 20 boxes of faced masks (equal to 1,000 sets) as well as10 million riels budget. On the other hands, the 87 teachers and staffs received 100,000 Riels, respectively.
