Safer Rural Community Program activity in 2021
Over the past 12 months, the Safer Rural Community Program (SRCP) has promoted the prevention of landmines and explosive remnants of war and the prevention of Covid-19 to 9,376 target people (6,125 women, 3,251 children). At the same time, SRCP provided interest-free loans to 250 families and recovered 327 families. Last week, Cambodian Red Cross staff in Pursat province in charge of Safer Rural Community programs monitored loan activities to educate people about landmines, explosive remnants of war and the spread of Kovid-19 in Samrong commune, Phnom Kravanh district. Pursat Province. It should be noted that the Cambodian Red Cross Pursat branch has provided interest-free loans since 2005 to 2,115 families supported by Austrian Red Cross, German Red Cross , Norwegian Red Cross Australian Red cross and ICRC.
